He is haloed. He is full bearded, and has short, styled hair. His right hand is raised, with the palm facing outward. He appears to hold something in his left hand: it is a thin, rectangular object - perhaps a scroll.

A saint (DAA). A holy man, probably a local martyred saint (Davis).
